TODAY’S SCRIPTURE
Nehemiah had completed the wall of Jerusalem. Exiles had returned from captivity back to their city and Promised Land of Israel. As they gathered together to hear the Law of God read, the hearts of the people must have swelled! God had delivered them and through miraculous means had helped them rebuild their Temple and their wall. The Lord was their strength, and their joy was full!
