TODAY’S SCRIPTURE
Before Jesus made His appearance on the earth, the whole world was groaning under sin. But our scripture reading for today is the announcement that the long-awaited Messiah, and his precursor John the Baptist, were about to burst upon the scene. No longer would the world strain under the curse of death. Salvation was at hand! As you read today, realize that no matter what your circumstance, you can rejoice in the delight of the Lord.
Luke 1:14
He will be a joy and delight to you, and many will rejoice because of his birth.
