TODAY’S SCRIPTURE
Why are we afraid of any human foe? They are finite creatures who will pass away. They are like the grass of the field in a desert climate. When the rain comes, they spring up overnight. But, within hours or days, the heat comes and they wither and die. With God as our friend, partner, and Lord, we have no need to fear any man, animal, situation, or problem. Through Jesus we have become eternal beings.
Isaiah 51:12
“I, I am he who comforts you; who are you that you are afraid of man who dies, of the son of man who is made like grass.”
