TODAY’S SCRIPTURE
James Taylor wrote a song entitled, “You’ve Got a Friend.” Some would say that this song does not apply to those who are lonely and abandoned. But Christ-followers know that they do indeed have a friend – always and forever. And in our scripture passage for today, we can confidently approach this friend anytime in prayer knowing that He is there.
1 John 5:14
This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us.
