Sacking Hunger
Each year SMBC helps to address hunger needs in our community and around the world. Because hunger knows no borders whether in our world or in our neighborhoods, we are ready to “SACK HUNGER” for our October missions project.
You can participate in a variety of ways:
-
Bring can food items. Using the list below purchase your items which will be forwarded to the Greenwood County Food Bank and Greenwood United Ministry for distribution. Grab a brown bag from the missions display with an appropriate list and return it filled.
-
Give a gift of $25 for local hunger needs. Because COVID-19 may challenge your ability to purchase items, someone will do the shopping for you!
-
Give a financial gift to the SBC World Hunger Fund. This gift addresses hunger on the world stage.
Discuss with your family which giving option works best for you!
