TODAY’S SCRIPTURE
In the Gospel of John chapter 16, Jesus addresses His disciples. He comforts and assures them that, even though they would be persecuted, He would be with them. He promises them that His Holy Spirit would be with them. And then Jesus promises to turn their sorrow into joy through His overcoming power.
John 16:22
So, with you: Now is your time of grief, but I will see you again and you will rejoice, and no one will take away your joy.
