TODAY’S SCRIPTURE
The Lord dictated to Moses the detailed instructions for the building of the Tabernacle. This was a tent-like structure designed as a place where the Children of Israel could worship and sacrifice. As the tabernacle traveled with the Israelites throughout their wanderings, the people were reminded that the presence of God would never leave them. As you read today remember that now the tabernacle of God is within men (Rev. 21:3), and thank the Lord for His presence in your life!
(Exodus 40) 33 Then Moses set up the courtyard around the tabernacle and altar and put up the curtain at the entrance to the courtyard. And so Moses finished the work. 34 Then the cloud covered the tent of meeting, and the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle. 35 Moses could not enter the tent of meeting because the cloud had settled on it, and the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle. (Exodus 40:33-34)
