TODAY’S SCRIPTURE
When Jesus was tempted in the wilderness, He taught a powerful lesson about the priority of serving God. It happened when the devil took Him to a high place. Showing Him all the kingdoms of the world the devil offered to give it all to Jesus. In return, Satan asked Jesus to bow and worship Him. Jesus’ answer is in our scripture verse for today, and is a reminder to worship the Lord only and make serving Him your highest priority.
Luke 4:8
Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Worship the Lord your God and serve him only.'”
