TODAY’S SCRIPTURE
Honoring your father and mother is yet another act of faith. When you were a child and did not have any way to think, protect yourself, or care for your daily needs a parent or parent figure did that for you. Most were diligent and you survived to adulthood. Now that you are grown, you should have the faith to continue to honor those who brought you up. You never outgrow the command to honor your parents.
Deuteronomy 5:16
Honor your father and your mother, as the LORD your God has commanded you, so that you may live long and that it may go well with you in the land the LORD your God is giving you.
