Braden & Aniah Dowdy | Small Groups & People Groups | October 2026
Sunday, October 4 — Belo Horizonte, Brazil
Meet again Braden & Aniah Dowdy. They serve as missionaries with Campus Outreach Min-istries in Belo Horizonte, Brazil. Campus Outreach Ministries is a global network of ministries who work through local churches to reach and develop the next generation of Christ leaders on university campuses across the world. Aniah (Kaltz) Dowdy attended South Main during our high school years before going to Wofford College where she met Braden, a missionary kid. Pray for them as they have resigned an agreement to serve two additional years in Brazil on college campuses, sharing Christ and making disciples.
Sunday, October 11 — Belo Horizonte, Brazil
Pray today for numerous college students who are expressing spiritual interest. They are Lucas, Otavio, Luis, Isabela, Mirelle and Myllene. Pray that these students will accept Christ and be transformed by the Holy Spirit.
Sunday, October 18 — Belo Horizonte, Brazil
Pray for additional missionary couples to relocate to our city and help with the mission of college evangelism and discipleship. Currently, one of our missionary teams (young couple) took a new assignment in Colorado. Pray that God fills this position soon.
Sunday, October 25 — Belo Horizonte, Brazil
Pray for our local church in Brazil. Pray also for the pastor’s wife who has just completed six treatments of chemo. Pray for the treatments to be miraculously effective and for our church to come alongside in support.
