Dear Church Family,
These past weeks have been a blessing as we’ve prayed and dreamed together about reaching future generations for Christ from our South Main “launching pad.” Just as early space missions relied not only on astronauts but thousands working behind the scenes, our weekly ministries continue faithfully reaching our community and world.
Through our REACH+RENEW Capital Stewardship Program, we are strengthening our home base so we can better REACH the world, expand God’s Kingdom, and RENEW our hearts. As we approach Commitment Sundays on March 22 and 29, here’s what to expect:
Your Giving is Confidential
Only Martin Moore, Financial Director and Denise Messer, Financial & HR Assistant,
have access to giving records for administrative purposes.
Why Commitments?
Your R+R commitments help us understand how God may lead
our church to give and allow us to plan the scope and timeline of construction.
What Happens on Commitment Sundays?
No R+R offerings will be collected. Instead, if you choose to participate:
• Review the Giving Estimator.
• Pray about how the Lord is leading you.
• Record the amount you plan to give over and above your regular offerings over a three-year period beginning April 12. On Commitment Sunday, you will be given a commitment card to confidentially record your gift.
Your Commitment is Flexible
If your circumstances change, you may adjust your commitment at any time. Giving begins on Launch Sunday, April 12. Offering envelopes and online giving will include a REACH+RENEW option. If you have questions, please reach out to me. This remains a personal commitment between you and the Lord.
