📖 READ IT
“Therefore, you should pray like this: Our Father in heaven, your name be honored as holy. Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us today our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And do not bring us into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.” - Matthew 6:9-13 CSB
🔍 DISCOVER IT
On Sunday, our church looked at Matthew 6:10. Jesus shows us that we should pray for God’s kingdom to come, not ours. Jesus also shows us that we should pray for God’s will to be done, not ours. Both of these are bold and “risky” prayers. Believers are called to fully trust, surrender, and listen to the Lord. That is not always easy! We learned that God’s ways are the best and regardless of our circumstance, He will be with us. The path that glorifies God is the same path that benefits you.

🙏 PRAY IT
Creator God, You are a good God. I love You. I confess to You that I often times do not put Your kingdom first. I put my own. I confess to You that often times I do not follow Your will. I follow my own. Please help me to trust in You, follow You, and submit to You. I know that You are a good God. Help me love You more and live to glorify You.
