Many individuals are unable to travel overseas yet desire to learn more about missions in a cross-cultural context. Planned weekend trips to Clarkston International Bible Church provide SMBC volunteers the opportunity to work in one of the most ethnically diverse communities in North America. Each year more than 3,000 refugees arrive in this unique location, fleeing political persecution or religious persecution and seeking asylum. These refugees come from numerous unreached people groups, and many have never heard the name of Jesus. This weekend (March 27-29) several SMBC high school students and adults will have the opportunity to meet many of these new families, enjoy a cultural meal in their home, prayer walk the community, learn more about unreached people groups and engage in conversation and invitations to Clarkston International Bible Church. Please pray for our students today as they worship with several different congregations such as English, Sudanese and Ethiopian. Your gifts to our South Main World Missions Offering make trips like this a possibility.
Pray, Give, Know, Go!
