Jose’ Beltran

Jose’ and his wife, Yareni, have been married for 19 years and have three children. Jose’ is a self-employed handyman, and the Beltrans have been part of the South Main family since 2019. Jose came to Christ after being invited to church, where he heard the gospel shared, recognized his sin, and accepted Christ as his Savior. Jose’ has previously served as a deacon and he enjoys serving by using his hands to better our church campus through various projects such as pressure washing and small repairs. If elected as a deacon he will use his hands to serve the body of South Main.

Travis Blizzard

Travis and his wife, Melissa, have been married for 28 years and have two children. Travis serves as Director of Adult Education for District 50, and the Blizzards have been part of the South Main family since 2015. Raised in the church, Travis came to understand as a youth that truly serving Christ begins with accepting Him as Savior and following Him in believer’s baptism, and he has continued to serve the Lord in his daily walk ever since. At South Main, he serves as a high school Sunday School teacher, and is a member of the Pastor Search Committee. As a deacon, Travis hopes to prayerfully serve alongside our church family, support other ministry areas as God leads, and mentor any new and upcoming deacons.

Melvin Calliham

Melvin and his wife, Cathie, have been married for 55 years and have two children, Brent Calliham and Kerri Marshall. Melvin is retired, and the Callihams have been part of the South Main family since 1971. Through the witness of Cathie’s parents, Melvin became convicted to accept Jesus as his Lord and Savior. At South Main, he has served as a greeter and on the security team. As a deacon, Melvin hopes to help carry on the work of the church by serving members of the congregation through prayer, visitation, and witnessing.

Randy Culbertson

Randy and his wife, Brenda, have been married for 56 years and have two children. Randy is retired from SC State Credit Union, where he served as a Regional Executive, and the Culbertsons have been part of the South Main family since 1975. Randy developed a meaningful relationship with Jesus Christ at South Main, where the Married Young Adults Sunday School class led by Dixon and Eleanor Teal made a huge difference in his and Brenda’s lives as a couple. At South Main, he serves in our Men’s Recovery group, the jail ministry, and Helping Hearts & Hands. As a deacon, Randy looks forward to using the extra time retirement has given him to serve our church.

Davis Reed

Davis and his wife, Jessica, have been married for nine years and have one child. Davis is a physician at Self Regional Healthcare, and the Reeds have been part of the South Main family since 2024. Raised in a Southern Baptist Church, Davis’s parents faithfully shared the gospel with him at a young age, and he began his walk as a follower of Jesus at age seven. Since then, God has continued to sanctify him and help him turn away from self-righteousness. At South Main, he serves as a Sunday School Small Group teacher in our young adult age group. As a deacon, Davis hopes to be the hands and feet of the gospel by loving our church family in times of need, having been so blessed and well loved by the church himself.

Joel Feltman

Joel and his wife, Madeline, have been married for 13 years and have two children. Joel serves as a Regional Forester with American Forest Management, and the Feltmans have been part of the South Main family since 2022. Joel grew up in church and accepted Christ at age 11 but later drifted away. Through this church, he has come to understand that faith is more than attending church; it is a personal relationship with Christ. At South Main, he currently serves as an Upward coach. As a deacon, Joel hopes to show up and be present whenever he is called on to serve, whether that means helping with sports, workdays, recovery meals, or wherever else God leads.

Mark Fields

Mark and his wife, Telese, have been married for 50 years and have two children, Troy Fields and Grayson Fields. Mark works as a contractor for South Main, and the Fields’ have been part of the South Main family since 2015. In the darkest hour of their marriage, Mark turned to a New Testament and read how to accept Jesus as his personal Lord and Savior. He and Telese began attending a church where he publicly professed Jesus as his Savior and was baptized. At South Main, he teaches Sunday School, serves on the Senior Adult Leadership Team, and leads the Safety Team and Greeting Team. As a deacon, Mark hopes God will use his abilities and his availability, because he loves to help people.

Tommy Holland

Tommy and his wife, Nancy, have been married for 53 years and have three children. Tommy is retired, and the Hollands have been part of the South Main family since 1975. Tommy came to faith as a young child through the influence of his Sunday School teachers, his time in Royal Ambassadors (RAs), and trips to Ridgecrest. At South Main, he has served as Sunday School secretary, a greeter, and an usher. As a deacon, Tommy hopes to help visitors feel welcome when they come, be a prayer partner to those in need, and serve wherever needed.

Kadin Ivey

Kadin and his wife, Katie Beth, have been married for seven years and have one child. Kadin serves as Band Director at Greenwood High School, and the Iveys have been part of the South Main family since 2022. Kadin accepted Christ at age six, but he did not fully understand what it meant to be a Christian until a youth camp in high school, where he rededicated his life to Christ at the age of 15. At South Main, he serves in the music ministry as a member of the orchestra. As a deacon, Kadin believes God can use him to serve others, support his pastor, encourage our church family, and show Christ’s love through humility, faith, and a willing heart.

Harry McCool

Harry McCool and his wife, Angie, have been married for 47 years and have two children. Harry serves as a clinical supervisor and instructor at the Dental College of Georgia, and the McCools have been part of the South Main family since 2025. Harry professed his faith in Jesus at a Billy Graham crusade in Chattanooga, Tennessee, in 1966. Since then, he has sought to follow Jesus through personal and corporate Bible study, continual church fellowship, and service to others, striving toward the goal of righteousness Paul describes in Philippians. At South Main, he serves as a choir member and Lord’s Supper coordinator. As a deacon, Harry is willing to serve however God chooses to use him, trusting that he is the clay and God is the potter.

Avery Wood

Avery and his wife, Laura, have been married for five years and have one child. Avery works as an NPD Engineer at Eaton, and the Woods have been part of the South Main family since 2021. Avery came to know Jesus as his Savior at age seven, when he realized in childlike faith that he was a sinner in need of a Savior. He has grown in his faith since that time and strives daily to grow in Christ. At South Main, he currently serves in the preschool ministry and helps teach the Rust Young Adult Sunday School Small Group. As a deacon, Avery believes God will use him to help others and to build relationships that lead people to Christ.
