Sunday, May 4 — Zambia
Pray today for our SMBC short-term mission team of six who will be departing on May 13 to Lusaka, Zambia and work with IMB Missionary, James Adair to share Christ and disciple college stu-dents. Pray thanking the Lord for these willing short-term mission volun-teers: Danielle Brooks, Amaiya Nichols, Scout Morrow, Owen Sargent, Anna Smith, Andy Roberson.
Sunday, May 10 — Zambia
As our team departs from Atlanta this week to fly to Zambia, pray for safety and rest. It will take two long flights and a 12 hour layover for our team to arrive in Lusaka. Pray especially that our team will manage the first flight of almost 15 hours well and without any health or visa challenges.
Sunday, May 17 — Zambia
Pray for our team who arrived in Zambia yes-terday after 17 hours of flying and the 12 hour layover in Johannesburg. Pray that God provides our team with great rest and strength as they as-sist in the planning for the upcoming college worship/evangelistic event for college students across Zambia. As the event draws nears, (May 23) pray that Zambian students will attend and invite their lost friends.
Sunday, May 25 — Zambia
Our team has now been on the field for almost 10 days. Pray for ongoing strength and perseverance in order to finish the mission assignment well. Pray also for safety as they return to the United States on May 28.
Sunday, May 31 — Zambia
Pray for the Zambian students who received Christ to find a local church. Pray also for IMB missionaries, James & Mary Margaret Adair as they continue the discipleship process.
